As a child growing up my mom would always say "Laura you need to wear a coat". I never realized how quickly I could catch a cold until the other night...
I arrived back in West Lafayette around 7PM on the 26th. It had been snowing. I tried to start my car and it wouldn't start. For the full story on this see this post.
I spent so much time trying to revive my car in the cold that I got sick. I've never been one to get sick very often. But right now I feel awful, and it is really kind of my own fault.
I guess the point of this is:
YOU WERE RIGHT MOM!!!!!
