New bedding for the new furniture

Michael and I are tired...tired of brown & black drabness. We decided that it was necessary to update our bedding from brown & cream to something that goes better with our new modern furniture!! We found a great deal on EXACTLY what we'd been looking for today.

We finally got all of the boxes out of our new office! Looks great!

Ikea

We made a trip to Ikea in Bolingbrook, IL. We sold our old bedroom furniture on Craigslist Friday night, so all we had was a mattress & boxspring. Michael put them together last night and this morning.

Meet our new addition!

Introducing Miss Templeton "St0p that" Caruso.
She is 1 year and 1 month old. She weighs in at an enormous 7lbs. To the delight of her new parents she has a litterbox and knows how to use it. There is a lot of kitten left in her. Her current activities include: running through the apartment for no apparent reason, attacking feet under blankets, sitting in Michael's new chair (even though she gets dumped EVERY TIME), and sleeping anywhere.

Panama City was a BLAST as always! Michael & I were desperate to get out of town. Between graduation, taking his new job, me leaving my job, making important apartment decisions, and all that goes with those things we were about to lose our minds!

We ate, boy did we ever! Sweet Basil's, Montego Bay, Hunt's Oyster House, Hungry Howie's Pizza, and Pineapple Willy's.

We went to the beach every day but one, as I was a crispy critter. We decided to stay out of the sun by going to the outlet mall in Destin. We also spent a fair amount of time at Pier Park.

Overall we couldn't have had much more fun. It was so relaxing to get away!

My last day at work!

My last day at work was Thursday May 13th, although my official last day wasn't until the 20th, but I was already on my scheduled vacation during that week.

My co-workers made it nice for me! I got a cookie cake, card and a $25 gift certificate!

Leaving there was definitely bittersweet. I had made some really good friends there. Admittedly I had my share of frustrations there, but overall it was a character building experience!

Just your average update

-Michael is FINISHED with classes at Purdue FOREVER!

-Michael got a great job opportunity that we will be taking.

-My LAST day at Hampton Inn is on Thursday!

-Michael graduates on Saturday!

-We leave for vacation on Sunday! (So far the oil is not in Panama City, please pray that it won't make it there!)

-Michael begins his new job up near Chicago on May 24th.

-June 1st (ish) we will be moving to an apartment in Merrillville, IN.

-I will FINALLY be getting a cat when we move!

-I will be taking summer classes at Purdue or Purdue Calumet (I haven't decided which way to go yet)
