We had an absolute blast on our trip to Ocean City! I will only be posting a few pictures on here, because they take so doggone long to load, but here is the link to the entire album that is on facebook.
We spent every day on the beach. Michael took a sailing lesson with our brother-in-law Chris. I tested out nearly EVERY pizza joint in town. I will post more later, but my mom was getting upset that I hadn't posted anything since we had gotten back.

We're here!w
We are living it up in Ocean City NJ for the next two weeks. We don't have wireless at our house so we popped by the library so everyone could use my laptop to check email. Look forward to lots of pictures in a few weeks!

Anniversary gifts and Cake
This morning Michael and I woke up and were surprised to find that instead of year old cake we had fresh cannoli, donuts, and a butterfly cookie. Ok, so I will be honest now. Year old freezer cake sounded positively awful to me, so we just didn't save it. Instead we got new treats this morning.
Isn't this the best looking year old wedding cake you've EVER seen?

Michael knows me so well already! we had a $25 spending limit and here's what he got me:
It looks lame, but these are ALL things he's been wanting:
Meat fork w/ wooden handle,
Measuring cup that actually pours,
and a really thin spatula for flipping pancakes etc.

Our anniversary weekend part 1 & 2
Friday:
Michael and I loaded up the car with food and soft drinks and headed up to lake Michigan. I even drove his car (remember it is a 5 speed) in practice for our LOOONG trip to Ocean City next weekend. We only stopped to look in some store for a bathing suit for our vacation. Thank goodness I FINALLY FOUND ONE!

Saturday:
Tomorrow is our actual anniversary and we are planning on exchanging gifts and going to dinner. Otherwise I am not sure what we are going to do, but I promise to try and take pictures!
A side note: I was named employee of the month last week at work!

We arrived at the park and had a picnic lunch. Then we changed into our bathing suits and planted our behinds in the sand (more like chairs). We had a great time playing in the water together. We hung out on the beach for about 4 hours before we took a scenic drive and then headed home. We both had some of our favorite things for dinner, taco bell for me, Buffalo Wild Wings for Michael.

Saturday:
Today we mostly just spent time together enjoying each other's company and getting things ready for next weekend. We went to goodwill and bought a garment bag for travel, and boy was I surprised when I looked really closely (after I drowned the thing in Lysol), I found a travel iron in it! It folds over and I am super excited about it! Haha.
Our "new" travel ironfolded over. It works!
