More Honeymoon news!

A friend sent me
this picture...
what will they
think of next?

So, yesterday Michael and I made the reservations for our honeymoon. We are staying at a small B&B on the Island of Put-In-Bay, aka South Bass Island. The house was built in 2006 and it only has four guest rooms. Each room is decorated in a different theme: the Cancun room, Put-In-Bay room, New Orleans room, and the Key West room. We are really excited because we were really looking for something that was away from the typical hotel scene.

Other than the we are looking into places to stay for the night of our wedding. We are looking into the Brown, Galthouse, and the Seelbach hotels. The next morning Michael and I will go up to his house for a big breakfast with his family, most of which do not live locally, and head toward the island that afternoon.

As far as school things are concerned I took my Religions of the West midterm on Tuesday, and received a perfect score on the essay portion of the test and did well on the multiple choice portion of the test. I am amazed by some of the people in my class don't know things from the bible that are "second nature" to me.

Honeymoon Dilemna

So, after much thought, and prodding by my blogger friends I have decided that I should start my own blog page, to detail mine and Michael's journey to the alter over the course of the next five and a half months.

For the last month or so people have been asking Michael and me where we will be going on our honeymoon, to which we have answered uhh, we don't know yet. Sunday night we started to seriously look into possible locations. We wanted to go somewhere relatively inexpensive, with a beach, and outdoor activities. We looked at the Jersey shore, but we did not want to be anywhere near Atlantic City, and where we wanted to go there were very few lodging options. We also looked at Panama City Beach, but I have "been there done that," and we wanted to go somewhere different and new for both of us.

Finally I remembered an island that I visited briefly when I was in middle school with a friend's family. We looked into it and it turns out that it has everything we want and need. The island is called South Bass Island, on lake eerie. We haven't made reservations yet, however we finally at least have a "lead" on where we want to go!
